The entire experience w Arctic Sun was great! Our furnace died in the middle of the current ice-cold weather, after the ice storm. Wanda sent Billy out here first thing, he worked a long time on it, even going out to pick up a part. Justin came out w the new part. I have used Arctic Sun for over a decade at several homes. I choose them because of their integrity and honesty—and that's worth a lot. Billy came to do our annual heating checkup recently (as part of their maintenance program), and he was a good reminder of why they stand out in the competition. He was friendly, polite, and voluntarily explained everything he was doing while I watched over his shoulder the entire time. My watching him would have upset some company's technicians, but he took it in stride! Although he didn't find anything requiring immediate attention during his thorough exam, the maintenance program is worth the money.

First time using this company. Received immediate response when I inquired about service plans and scheduling was easy. Received notice when the technician was dispatched to my home and then a call from the technician with an ETA. The technician was polite and friendly and did a full inspection of my inside and outside system. Was thrilled when he told me he had been with the company for 12 years and he made a recommendation that I decrease the MERV rating on my filter to make it easier for my system motor to run. So far so good with this company.

My furnace had shut off and I called Arctic Sun at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. My service tech Billy was there at 5:00 and determined that I had no oil. The oil folks had royally screwed up with my automatic refill and they came on Wednesday to fill my tank. Billy arrived this afternoon (had to wait until then so someone was home) and he checked and reset the furnace. This company is always so responsive and I’m so thankful for them. The office personnel, Wanda, is awesome too!

Tech came out to complete R&R of outside unit for plumbing work. Unit immediately blew fuses and breakers! Much troubleshooting later we determined the unit was good and that the wiring feeding had apparently failed when the outside unit had been moved to facilitate digging. Tech and apprentice were relentless in finding the fault without pushing for an easy replacement. Once it was determined the unit itself wasn’t the cause they carefully checked every part. They didn’t take an easy path that would’ve been expensive for me and were extremely patient. It was cold, it rained, hours were spent solving this puzzle!
In the end, by taking careful steps, the techs found what had to be the failed component. Their fee was reasonable and not far off the original quote, a massive relief for my worn out wallet.
I *think* Justin was the tech but I’m certain the guys on this call will remember it back at the shop! These two were pros, friendly, knowledgeable, and neither got frustrated despite the conditions. I absolutely recommend these good honest people!
